Story by Danny Wilson, Sonship Chaplain

"Our story began with the miracle recovery of a man called Lesta who live in Rarumana village, Vona Vona Lagoon. Lesta was an SDA person but he left the church for many years. Early in 2020 he has contacted cancer on the neck and not long he was in a serious condition of his health. He was discharge from hospital and come home to be cared for by his family. In 2021 I and my team had conducted two weeks meeting at Petunia Village. On Sabbath we have a home visitation program and we manage to visit with him at his home. That Sabbath he shared with us his story and he's asking us to help praying for his recovery, and we prayed with him that day for sure. God gave him healing. On our last tour I finally meet him again and I was so surprise to see him fully recovered from his cancer and he was also rebaptised and re join the SDA church.
We we want to thank Sonship for making that trip possible to visit him during his darkest moment and today he was recover both physical and spiritual"

Thankyou Danny for this miraculous story πŸ™praise God πŸ‘

These are some of the typical medical complaints that Medisonship 3 has encountered on this month's tour. Providentially, as Med 3 arrived at Mase Village on North New Georgia Island they saw a mother crying. Our staff had no idea what was happening but an elderly man came and asked them to go see a child who had been to the nearest clinic but because of no medication there was sent back home again.

"So we did go and see the kid and with God's help I managed to put up the IV before we referred them to go to Munda hospital. This is a urgent referral case. With God's help I anticipate kid will recover from severe chest infection and hypoglycaemia of 1.1mmol/1glucose. We put the child under our prayer point. πŸ™ this kid has a history of cough, short breath, convulsions with several fits. They attended the nearby clinic without been treated because of no drug available in clinic. Medisonship 3 was blessed to arrive this morning. There is hope for this mother. We prayed with the mother" story as told by RN Timothy, photo credits Timothy

Thanks RN Timothy for allowing God to use you to help save this child's life πŸ™ God's timing is always perfect πŸ₯°

This is what AI says about Medisonships!

"The Medisonships are an initiative in the Solomon Islands aimed at improving access to healthcare in remote and underserved areas. These ships are essentially floating clinics equipped with medical facilities and staff. They travel to various islands, providing essential medical services such as general check-ups, vaccinations, and emergency care. This program is crucial in a country where many communities are isolated due to the vast number of small islands and limited transportation infrastructure. The Medisonships help bridge the gap in healthcare access, ensuring that even the most remote populations receive necessary medical attention."
